We work with American communities to design, finance, and construct open access fiber-optic networks. These networks are critical to secure internet access that’s fast, affordable, and fair. As open access networks, this infrastructure is also the essential foundation for distributed healthcare services, new wireless solutions, and resilient infrastructure including modernized water systems and responsible energy creation. Our first two projects are in Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado.

About this Position

As the MDU Account Manager you will unlock access for Underline to serve residents in multi-dwelling units such as apartment buildings, new housing developments, or mixed-use properties (residential and business use). To do this, you will manage and maintain property manager and HOA relationships, negotiate access agreements, network and source business within the El Paso County real estate community, and champion tenant access to Underline services. This role reports to the Market Development Director.

What You'll Do

  • Source new residential buildings where Underline can serve residents
  • Determine whether there is also an opportunity to serve the building owners/managers directly at the leasing office/in common spaces.
  • Complete access agreements and manage the implementation of complex connectivity solutions for residential buildings with a clear internal process
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for building owners/managers with a client-centered approach
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships within the real estate community
  • Keep the pulse on new residential developments within the city

Experience we’re looking for

  • At least five years of experience in real estate, property management, or telecom sales
  • Contract negotiation and deal structuring experience
  • Understanding of consultative relationship sales with proven success establishing new clients, deepening client relationships, and delivering results
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings

Bonus points

  • Experience selling telecom or internet products
  • Familiarity with the El Paso community, and surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
