Position Overview:

As an Executive Assistant at Beyond Landscaping Ltd., you will play a vital role as my "right-hand person." In addition to handling administrative tasks, you will assist with day-to-day operations, calendar management, and email correspondence.

Responsibilities:

You will receive a detailed list of responsibilities, their order of importance, and guidance on how to excel in each area. Our Office Manager, Office Admin Assistant, and I will work closely with you to develop your skills efficiently and transfer responsibilities smoothly.

Key tasks include:

Managing emails (forwarding/responding to customers and directing them to the appropriate person).

Assisting with personal email management (spam filtering, handling hockey-related matters, forwarding messages to groups, etc.).

Managing calendars.

Downloading e-books or providing download links as requested.

Monitoring public Facebook groups and tagging Beyond Landscaping.

Assisting with managing two hockey teams (tagging players, payment reminders, etc.).

Booking travel arrangements and conducting research.

Managing Facebook items for sale.

Overseeing personal public Instagram account.

Assisting in staying organized and on task, and eventually handling phones/messages.

Assisting with document completion and signature collection.

Undertaking various other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English for professional client interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Flexibility in handling additional tasks or instructions as required.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Google Suite, PowerPoint, and quick adaptability to new software systems.

Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable laptop/desktop computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and Chrome installed.
  • Sufficient space on your computer for downloading and running various job-related software.
  • Consistent and stable internet connection of at least 10MBPS, with a backup internet connection.
  • Noise-canceling headset/headphones.
  • Quiet and dedicated workspace free from distractions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting salary: $4 USD per hour, with a possible increase
  • Weekly salary for the first month, paid via PayPal, followed by bi-week
