Job Description Summary

As a Finance Intern Central Audit, you will support the central audit procedures with external auditors. You will learn about technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Essential Responsibilities

  • As an entry level Accountant, you will be responsible for performing basic journal entries with oversight and review from more senior accountants. You will follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives by:

  • Supporting all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements. This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable.

  • Maintain the stat ledger of a legal entity in compliance with local laws

  • Support audit, documents reception, identify key stakeholders and owners, audit engagement

  • Book Journals to reflect financial activities in compliance with above same and manage the monthly closing requirements

  • Support accurate and timely statutory & management reporting

  • Support controllership initiatives, projects, Stat COA definition

  • Support the preparation of metrics for relevant KPIs and reporting

  • Prepare Stat Trial balances

  • US-GAAP to local STAT walk & submission assistance

  • Accounts reconciliation preparation and submission

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Currently studies or with bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience/knowledge).

  • With strong English skills (written and verbal fluency) and strong

  • Knowledgeable in using MS Based Applications such as MS Excel

  • Able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks and resources and have process-oriented mindset.

  • Fluent and with basic competencies in additional European language (other than English) is a benefit.

  • Accounting experience would be a benefit
