Gavin Griffiths Group is seeking a Plant Supervisor to join our team in Llanelli.

As part of the Gavin Griffiths team your main objectives will be to oversee and Ensure Production day-to-day of the wash plant Operation & yard operatives' team, working collaboratively with the onsite team. In this vital role, we will look to you to ensure Pre start up and Daily routine maintenance checks have been completed; ensure all Health & Safety is being adhered to, including Risk Assessments. including coordinate breaks, annual leave, and shift cover. Effectively manage Wash plant materials at our recent and very exciting wash plant facility. Completing daily production meetings ensuring materials are managed correctly and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Making essential decisions on materials. How they can be processed most effectively.
  • Operating Wash plant ensuring maximising production and minimizing down time.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping on site.
  • Supervising members of staff you are responsible for.
  • Ensuring regular maintenance checks and repairs on plant are carried out.
  • Control the areas you are working in.
  • Completing General Maintenance on wash plant .
  • Ensuring products produced meet the specification standards.
  • Assisting with environmental aspect of the site.
  • Ensuring KPI's are met

To be successful in your application for the Wash plant Supervisor, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

Mechanical Experience is essential.

Crushing/Screening experience is essential.

Previous experience of leading small teams effectively.

Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ideally a background of working in recycling, construction, and a production environment.

Qualifications in site safety such as CSCS,SMSTS, SSSTS and SSP would be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
