Role Overview:
As a Bartender, you'll be a master of your craft, expertly preparing a diverse range of beverages while connecting with customers and maintaining the bar's lively ambiance. Your passion for mixology, attention to detail, and personable nature will define our patrons' experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create signature and classic cocktails with precision, adhering to established recipes.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations based on preferences.
- Mix and serve drinks promptly, ensuring visual appeal and consistent quality.
- Maintain a well-organised and stocked bar, anticipating beverage and supply needs.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently through the point-of-sale system.
- Create an inviting and sociable atmosphere by interacting with patrons and fellow staff.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide information about beverages, and offer exceptional service.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage busy periods and coordinate orders seamlessly.
- Assist in bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards.
Previous experience:
- Previous bartending experience in a bar, lounge, or restaurant setting.
- Proficiency in crafting cocktails, mixing various beverages, and garnishing creatively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building connections with patrons.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail in drink preparation, order accuracy, and payment processing.
- Familiarity with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Physical stamina to stand, move, and lift items during shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and legal drinking age requirements.
- Basic understanding of POS systems for order processing and payment.
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences through cocktails and conversation.
