Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Finance Transformation Officer for the Financial Reporting department in our Marousi premises.

As a Finance Transformation Officer, the ideal candidate will participate in critical transformation projects to deliver efficiency and value to the business, by assisting the team in the enhancement of existing Key Financial Information Systems of the Group and being involved in the design as well as in the implementation of new systems. This role will support the ongoing development of our Financial processes, systems, and controls to ensure that they are reliable, cost effective and aligned with the needs of the Group.

Requirements

More particularly:

What you will do:

  • Support the continuous evolution and transformation process of the financial systems of the Group by assisting the Finance Transformation team to meet its targets on process standardization, automation, and upgrade of reporting standards
  • Work with Finance Transformation team and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Assist in the enhancement of the existing financial systems and their adaptation to the evolving requirements of the Group
  • Act as the bridge between Finance and IT systems
  • Assist in the design of reporting solutions based on the identified needs of Finance organization
  • Perform analysis and tests on proposed and under development solutions to evaluate functionality, quality, agility, and efficiency
  • Perform checks on implemented solutions to assess functionality and compliance and provide support to end users with regards to new processes and reporting tools

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • 2-3 years of experience at a similar role or at a reporting department - previous pharma experience would be considered an asset

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent command of the Greek & English languages, both oral and written
  • Experience in large volume-based transaction processing and data sets
  • Understanding of finance processes and technical accounting
  • Affinity with Finance and IT
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Knowledge of reporting/consolidation/data visualization tools will be highly appreciated
  • Prior experience working with SAP systems preferred
  • Ability to work within project constraints to ensure that milestones and delivery dates are met
  • Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach
  • Positive attitude, team working and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines
