What a Manufacturing Technician does in HP:
- Performs daily operation tasks to achieve production targets.
- Perform maintenance activities on equipment and ensure production stability and healthy.
- Repairing base on OPL as a first gate to detect, fix and continue monitor the product goods.
- Work as product quality assurance, involve inspection, test, feedback and record.
- Maintain inventory of job materials.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Collect hazardous or non-hazardous waste in correctly labeled barrels or other containers and transfer them to collection areas.
Individuals who will do well in this role in HP, usually possess:
- SKM 1 & SKM 2 or diploma or equivalent experience (2 to 4 years of experience).
- May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non- in above education requirement (SPM /STPM or equivalent)
- Working knowledge in the field of electromechanical technology or semiconductor.
- Experience in area such as Laser Scribe, Pick & Place, Panel Clean, Wire Bond, Dispensing, Electrical Testing, Vision Inspection and Metrology is highly desired.
- Experience in performing machine buyoff, maintenance or handling process machines will be an add-on advantage.
- Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Able to work individually and work as a team.
- Learning all the necessary knowledge to perform the required task assigned.
- Demonstrating the learning attitude to expand the responsibility.
