Senior Customer Solutions Engineer - Logistics [Austria]


 
We are offering a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer position within our dynamic Engineering Team of 15 persons that supports our BeNeLux Contract Logistics Organisation: more than 30 locations; 850,000+ sqm; 5,000+ employees. This position offers a great flexibility with remote work options and can be taken from Geel in Belgium or Veghel in The Netherlands. Your Role

You will have a leading role in designing Warehouse Solutions, a large proportion of which are automated, for potential new customers and for the changing business of existing customers. Together with the Business Development and other stakeholders in the organization, you will create attractive commercial proposals based on a strong technical solution that meets the customer’s requirement and brings the value they search. In the implementation phase you ensure that the concept design is translated in a viable implementable detailed design.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyzing, investigating and designing (automated) logistic concepts and processes , based on the available data and your experience;
  • Lead workshops with customers and suppliers to ensur proper alignment of logistics concepts with all requirements;
  • Perform activity based cost calculations for designed solutions; #LI-AM4
  • Developing proposals and presenting the solutions to the (potential) customer, highlighting the unique Selling Point and benefits from the Solution;

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Master’s degree in the area of logistics or equal level by experience;
  • 5 years of experience in operations management and/or engineering; Extended and diverse knowledge of Warehouse Solutions, conceptual and technical knowledge to transform this in the design of new automated solutions;
  • Strong experience in activity-based cost calculation and the establishment of rates;
  • Born confident and motivator with enthusiasm to lead people. You are a decision maker and able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in intercultural environments,
  • Result driven mindset, good communication and presentation skills, strong team spirit,
  • Excellent command of English, Dutch is a plus,
  • You are willing to travel in Belgium (north) and The Netherlands (South) in relation to different projects / customers.
