Job Information:
Midland Tractors is the Tasmanian Dealer for John Deere Agricultural Products and Silvan Spraying & Farming Equipment. We service a diverse range of customers with quality, well renowned equipment and after sales support and service.
We are seeking the services of a self-motivated individual to join our team who will be based at our Montrose Branch. The position will be responsible for coordinating and directing the workload of the Service Department for maximum efficiency and productivity ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our customers.
Reporting directly to the Group Service Manager, this position's main responsibilities include;
- Overseeing the Montrose Service Department in its entirety.
- Liaising with customers - booking in jobs and update on progress
- Scheduling resources to repair orders and daily timesheet review.
- Retail, warranty & internal jobs invoice processing
- Management and control of work in progress (WIP)
- Product support to customers and technicians
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in supervisory position ideally within a workshop environment
- Excellent customer services skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good computer literacy and administrative skills
- Trade qualifications would be advantageous.
