Job Description

The Business Partner - Talent Acquisition implements and executes the recruitment strategy, employee value proposition and branding of the organization. Working collaboratively with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements, and fulfil these needs through proactive sourcing, assessment and selection of candidates.

  • Contribute to the creation of future talent recruitment campaigns, targeting graduates and school leavers, designing careers events & developing a targeted media selection strategy.
  • Create recruitment campaigns; identifying the characteristics of key candidate target groups; utilizing candidate attraction channels, including LinkedIn and advertising.
  • Engage with hiring managers to clarify job vacancies & develop a role profile and candidate specification, to provide the most appropriate candidates for their needs,
  • Screening job applicants over the phone to validate whether their skills are appropriate for the specialist roles they have applied for.
  • Deliver a high-quality onboarding process to all successful applicants, proposing improvements to procedures to ensure all new employees have a positive experience when joining the business.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future management and professional roles, by developing strong mining industry networks.
  • Work on projects to improve the service to hiring managers and enhance the candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent level of education, preferably with Human Resources or Recruitment.
  • 2+ years recruitment experience, from either an internal or agency environment.
  • A full driving license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role based at site 3 days a week and WFH 2 days.
  • This role is eligible for a 9 day fortnight, offering an additional day off every other week.
