The offshore wind company Vårgrønn continues to grow and is seeking a dedicated and talented Project Controller to join the team. You will play a key part in the company's growth by ensuring comprehensive financial processes and control activities related to our offshore wind projects. Your main task will be to establish and monitor project budgets, facilitate financial documentation and reporting in accordance with internal and external requirements.

Experience and qualifications:
To succeed in the role, you should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field of studies, preferably within finance, economics, administration, or accounting. It is also required that you have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role involving financial management in projects and are familiar with traditional accounting tasks, analysis work, and reporting, preferably within the renewable sector and/or petroleum industry.
The role requires a good understanding of financial software and systems (such as pivot tables, Tripletex accounting systems). Experience in project planning would be seen as a useful bonus.
You must have excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are also seen as beneficial.

Your responsibilities will include:- Establish and manage an efficient billing process for projects and joint ventures in compliance with tax regulations
- Conduct regular cost control analysis for projects and joint ventures
- Provide reports on billing and reporting activities to management and partners
- Assist Project Manager with specific requests from Projects' Steering Committees.
- Assist external auditors as needed
- Compile and report key administrative and financial metrics to management
- Support the CFO team in implementing and managing an effective internal control system
- Assist the CFO team in activities related to the Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, or Audit Committee
- Perform other project-related tasks and duties as assigned
