Production/Product Development
From sourcing raw materials to manufacturing, order placement, pricing, quality control and getting the finished product where it needs to be, our production/product development team is responsible for ensuring we keep our standards high and our business profitable at every step of the journey. Specific Responsibilities Would Include:
The Associate, Product Development for Favorite Daughter supports the seasonal sample needs, in collaboration with a cross-functional team that includes Design, Merchandising, Production and our overseas partners.
  • Follow up and track all proto styles with vendors and update tracker accordingly
  • Ensure that prototypes are in-house on time for all proto/adoption meetings
  • Create and maintain sample tracker for all salesmen samples
  • Collect all prices from vendor for protos and sms
  • Work with vendors to ensure all sample yardage is booked for SMS
  • Lead weekly sms/proto meetings with design/merch /production.
  • Proactively follow up with each vendor to ensure timely delivery of proto and sms.
  • Work cross-functionally and with vendors to come up with creative solutions/workarounds in order to improve execution and delivery date of samples.
  • Receive, log and organize all incoming fabric, samples, and lab dips.
  • Distribute samples to all cross-functional teams and pack/ship where necessary
  • Manage and execute all samples for special requests and injections.
  • Participate to the allocation meeting at the beginning of each season
  • Communicate to each vendor at the beginning of the season; the proto and sms development timeline/due dates
  • Update BOM’s in PLM.
  • Update PLM with HTS classifications per season.
  • Approve bulk submits.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft suite skills (excel)
  • Familiarity with OSCA, FLEX PLM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Must be efficient with strong attention to details.
  • Demonstrate the organizational ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Have enthusiasm and be self-motivated, have a passion for fashion and clothes, and love challenges
  • Strong communication skills

Salary Range: $58,500-$67,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
