We are an Italian, family run business, which manufactures specialist Italian cheese, meats and fresh pasta. We are leading importers and distributors of Italian foods, wines and provisions. We are a well established business, which delivers our products nationwide who are known throughout the wholesale, catering and restaurateur trade.

We are now looking for an experienced Office administrator with Telephone Customer Service to join our Office based team in our Bedford Depot. It is a small friendly team, where the ideal candidate will multitask in a busy office environment, must be a team player and ideally have min 1 year office experience.

Your main responsibilities will be

· Take and process customers orders over the telephone

· Be confident to up sell products to customers when taking the orders.

· Calling customers and giving them details of any stock shortages, problems that may arise and also detailing new products that we have available

· Invoicing and processing orders, making adjustments

· Filing and general paperwork

· Inputting orders via our system

· Dealing with others departments in tracking down any delays or out of stock items

· Ad hoc office duties

Who we are looking for

· Someone who is confident and has a calm and friendly manner

· Italian speaker is a bonus.

· Confident with IT

· You must have good attention to detail

· Effective communicator and enjoys speaking with people

· Have an interest in or willingness to learn about the Italian food

· Must be quick as the office operates at a very fast pace

· Someone who contributes to teamwork

Details

·Rate dependant on experience would be from £21,900.00 to £23k (With a 6 month end of probation review and salary review)

· Hours 40 hrs per week

· Monday – Friday

· 8am - 5pm (1 hr Lunch)

· 28 days holiday (Including Bank Holidays) You will be required to work some of the Bank holidays. /lieu days will be given to compensate
