Scientist in Water Analysis (m/f/d) Customer Analytical Services
Location: Mönchengladbach, Germany
Duties & Responsibilities
- You are responsible for water analytical work at Customer Analytical Services Laboratory EMEA and leading a diverse team of highly skilled laboratory technicians
- The main professional focus is coordinating and reporting of water analysis results to our pulp and paper as well as industrial water customers
- Creativity and innovation are requested, when it comes to the development of new methods and instrumental techniques
- For our internal and external customers, you present the results of lab studies and projects. If needed other divisions and locations of our company are supported with your expertise
- You support our R&D and Fast Track teams with analytical work
Requirements
- You obtained a university degree with a focus on analytical chemistry and/or water science
- Good knowledge of most common water analytical techniques like ICP, IC, titrimetric methods, AOX and colorimetric techniques are essential.
- Experience in leading and motivating people is important
- Familiarity in a high-throughput laboratory environment is advantageous
- As an international company, we expect strong verbal and written skills in English
- Flexibility and willingness to work internationally and cross-culturally is important
- You are familiar with ISO 9001 quality management system
- Good working knowledge of a LIMS system is advantageous
