The Finance Business Intelligence team drives the financial data environment. We combine analytical and strategic skills to develop a sound financial data future. We work closely with teams across the group, as well as with external partners. In this respect, we are currently in a stimulating period of transition about our data. Those exciting challenges are articulated around sefl-service, rationalization of existing but as well new data sources.

As part of the Finance Business Intelligence architecture team, you will be the key member to reach our vision, drive data analytics and insight initiatives. You will be responsible for building data models, automated reporting and forecasting solutions which are to be used at all levels of the division, that enable product and business decision making. You will be assigned to data related projects from inception through execution, then supports these projects once implemented.
You will work closely with each of the teams across Finance as well as of the IT. A thorough insight of the cutting-edge technologies in the Business Intelligence is a valuable asset, You are comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and able to embrace the opportunity of working in a cross-functional team. Previous experience in leading finance projects in an autonomous manner is required.
Responsibilities
- You will develop and maintains scalable data pipelines and builds out new integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
- You will collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
- You will implement internal/external processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
- You write unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work.
- You performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
- You work closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
- You define company data assets (data models), MS-SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, and MS-PowerBI to populate data models.
- You design data integrations and data quality framework.
- You design and maintain vendor tools for data lineage.
- You work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, autonomy, project management knowledge and strong teamwork skills
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 5+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modelling
- 3+ years of SSAS Tabular experience
- 3+ years of DAX experience
- 3+ years of Power BI experience
- Ability in managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems
- Experience working with either a Map Reduce or an MPP system on any size/scale
- Strong written & verbal communication in English
