Supply Chain Officer [Philippines]


 

Job description

  • Researching and identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating them based on factors such as quality, price, and delivery time.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that they meet the organization's needs.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers, and resolving any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Creating purchase orders and monitoring the delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
  • Developing and maintaining a procurement budget, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Conducting market research and benchmarking exercises to ensure that the organization is receiving the best value for money.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role/industry
  • Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practises (researching, evaluating and liaising with suppliers)
  • Strong understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Ability to create reports via Microsoft excel or GSheet
  • Effective time and priority management
  • Good communication (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
  • Willing to work onsite in BGC Taguig

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
