Looking for a hard working reliable female carer to join our care team as Bank support and suport with the caring needs of a lovely female teenager with complex needs and disabilities within her own home environment.
The initial role on offer is a bank carer with 1x guaranteed 2.5hr Friday afternoon shift every week.
Working every Friday 4pm to 6 30pm and picking up extra hours to cover staff sickness, holidays along with extra shifts in the school holiday's
The bank carer will need to be flexible to support core shifts when staff are sick or on holiday. The core shifts are 07 15 to 0845 hrs or 16:00 to 18:30 week days. ( This is only needed when our core staff are unavailable)
In school holidays additional shifts are available between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs. ( 2 to 6 hour shifts available)
Occasional weekend and evening shifts available to. Typically between 6pm and 11pm
Working in a 2 to1 care environment ( Support of another carer whilst on shift)
Duties include: Before school activities including All aspects of Personal care, administration of medicines, using hoists, following feeding regimes, re positioning, suctioning aswell as social interaction, walks, and crafts.
Some experience ideally preferred but full training provided to right candidate
Driving licence desirable but not essential
Hours needed - 2.5 hrs per week minimum
Every Friday 4pm to 6.30pm plus extra hours as described
The role is ideally suited to someone who is extremely flexible but happy to accept 2.5hrs as the only guarantee weekly.

Hourly rate £13.43
