Your Role

Atlas Copco Cloud Environment

  • Atlas Copco has a large and global Azure cloud platform and will be expanding quite extensively over the next years.
  • We, the global Solution & Architecture team, established a Cloud Center of Excellence to guide and enable our business to get the most out of the Cloud. We create and maintain the cloud platform; we ensure that its services are easy to consume, and we operate centrally managed components.
  • Atlas Copco has a managed services partner for operating the Azure Cloud environment and provides consultants on a per-need basis.
  • Atlas Copco looks towards a cloud-agnostic way of working and multi-cloud but not yet in place.
  • The CCoE (Cloud Center of Excellence) is a team that has 7 members (int and ext) with different specializations (devops, finops, SRE, governance, …). Every person has his/hers specialization but can take up tasks from other members since we want to work towards T-shaped profiles.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible to lead the Cloud Center of Excellence like a scrum master on an agile team.
  • You will be responsible and the main contact point for the Cloud managed service partner and the Cloud vendor.
  • You will be working together with the Cloud managed service provider for new services, contract changes, invoicing, monitoring SLAs, ….
  • Dispute and Escalation Management: Assist the Vendor and Contract Manager and regional IT teams with escalations and disputes.
  • Be a cloud ambassador towards the organization and support in creating training material/documentation.
  • Work together with other teams (Identity and Access Management, networking, security, process, communication team) to have alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to the ITSM processes for the solution lifecycle: Incident & Request, Change, Problem, Event & monitoring, Knowledge, Configuration, CMDB among the principal ones.


To succeed, you will need

Experience Requirements

  • Vendor management experience preferably with managed service providers
  • Experience with a cloud environment
  • Experience in leading teams in an agile way
  • Experience with ITIL is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Good cloud knowledge is a plus (AWS or Azure)
