Play a pivotal role in our business
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will have responsibility across multiple job families (eg. Quality Assurance & Quality Control). May have direct reports (or dotted line reports). Positions requiring thorough understanding and application in a concrete organizational context
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Participating in HSE programs as assigned and keep work areas of the facility in a safe, clean, and organized manner
Creating and managing Quality Plans (QP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), including specific customer quality and technical requirements identifying witness and hold points
Facilitating and driving closure of customer complaints (CIR/FRACAS)
Ensuring an effective project execution through ownership of project-specific quality requirements, manages project quality-related risks and opportunities
Ensuring effective application of the Baker Hughes Quality Management System (QMS) during the project lifecycle to ensure customer requirements are met
Establishing and executing project quality plan, witness points and quality records for compliance with contract
Identifying opportunities for improvements in methods, procedures, and processes
Participating in standard council, may participate in quality audits, material review boards or kaizens events
Ensuring customer-specific quality requirements are executed by the plant/region/country

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field or equivalent industry and work experience
Be a certified Lead Auditor
Have minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Project Management, Managing Quality Management system (ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, API 6A, API Q2).
Experience of working in a manufacturing setting is an added advantage.
Have minimum 3 years experience Managing and leading Internal audits, lean concepts and root cause analysis including CA/PA
Have experience in supporting tender quality requirements
Have experience to maintain site API Q2 certification, lead process improvement, optimization and Lean assignments
Have experience in QMS and audit processes and a deep understanding of compliance requirements including API Q1, API Q2, API 6A and ISO9001:2015.
Be a quality all-rounder, familiar with handling the systemic (QMS) alongside operational daily quality business
Demonstrate good knowledge of Pressure Control Equipment ( Wellheads and X-trees)
