IT Business Partner [Belgium]


 
As IT Business Partner, you’ll perform IT analyses, IT solutions design and IT implementation activities for existing and (potential) new customers. You’ll also provide IT consultancy to the EMEA CSS (client support services) and Operations teams and our existing customers. We are looking for a candidate in Belgium, the Netherlands, Czech Republic or Hungary.

Your job as IT Business Partner
  • Participate and add value to the overall performance of the IT organization.
  • Participate in IT Team meetings and actively contribute and support.
  • Ensure you have the training needed to support your daily work activities.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with the global IT product management and project delivery teams.
  • Ensure QMS (quality management system) processes are being adhered to.
  • Provide IT consultancy and effective IT support to the EMEA CSS and Operations teams in the management of their IT initiatives.
  • Provide support to the ""IT Account management and Business Development lead"" with the definition of IT solutions for new customer implementations
  • Analyse, design and implement IT changes for existing customers (CRF's)
  • Translate business requirements into functional and system requirements. Hand over system requirements to development partner for development/enhancement of new/existing IT solutions. Responsible for IT testing of new solutions / enhancements to existing solutions.
  • Document the B2B/EDI requirement specification. Hand over specifications to B2B development partner.Responsible for the unit testing and integration testing.
  • Support UAT where required.
  • Ensure successful handover of solutions to the IT Support teams
  • Provide project IT cost transparancy, when acting as IT worsktream lead.
  • Ensure IT PlanView data is maintained correctly and timely for projects with the support of PMO/IT PM
  • Deliver and maintain IT solution documentation (e.g. SRS, CoS) as needed.
  • Adhere to the agreed DHL internal methodologies incl. O2D, DEPICT processes.
  • Maintain close working relationships with the BPO (business process optimization) team, the global IT Product consultants and configuration teams and the B2B teams to ensure correct delivery of projects, consintency, best practise sharing, and assuring to deliver according to our strategy and standardization agenda.
  • Build strong working relationships with the Customer IT teams to ensure IT requirements are understood and translated into IT solutions.
  • Support CSS and the IT account management and business development lead in their customer meetings where required.
  • Work with external vendors where necessary to ensure they have valid specifications and that delivery is made in a correct and timely manner.
  • When acting as IT workstream lead, work with the Business Project Manager to keep internal and external stakeholders informed of project progress

The requirements for the job
  • 2+ years experience in logistics
  • Bachelor degree
  • Service Logistics or related industry knowledge a distinct advantage
  • 3+ years experience within IT
  • Relevant working experience in the logistics industry is an asset2+ years IT project management to ensure practical understanding of approach, issues and risks
  • Multi-country experience working within the region
